How does Traceten know a visit came from AI?

It reads the referrer, UTM tags and user agent each visit carries, and names the assistant behind it. Every classification records a confidence score and the method it used, so you can check any call.

Will it slow my site down?

No. The snippet is 10KB or less, gzipped, loads asynchronously and does its work in idle time. If anything goes wrong it fails silently.

What data do you collect about my visitors?

No personal data by default. Visitor IPs are hashed on ingestion with HMAC-SHA-256 under a per-site derived key, cookies are first-party only, and you can delete a visitor's data through the API.

Which payment processors work?

Stripe, Shopify, Lemon Squeezy, Polar and Paddle connect natively. Dodo and any other processor can send orders to the Payment API. Refunds come off revenue automatically, and 30 currencies convert to yours.

What is AI visibility?

A Beta feature. Traceten asks Perplexity and Google AI Overviews the prompts you choose, every 10 days, and shows where your brand appears in the answers. On Growth and Pro, an add-on brings in Claude and ChatGPT, measured through each vendor's API.

How much does it cost?

Starter is free. Growth is $49 a month and Pro is $199 a month, billed monthly. The pricing page lists every limit.
