01Does Mixpanel have an AI traffic channel?
Mixpanel's attribution docs describe a marketing channel as a combination of UTM medium, UTM source and referrer that you define. Traceten groups AI visits out of the box and names the assistant on each one.
02Can I get Stripe revenue into Mixpanel?
Yes, by deploying a cloud function that forwards Stripe events, as Mixpanel's guide describes. Traceten connects Stripe natively, along with Shopify, Lemon Squeezy, Polar and Paddle.
03What happens to AI crawlers in Mixpanel?
Mixpanel drops bot events at ingestion. Traceten records AI crawler visits on their own allowance, so they never count against your events.
04Does Traceten do retention cohorts?
No. Traceten has goals and funnels, but no retention or cohort reports. Mixpanel is the stronger tool for that work.
